Playing Fallout 76 requires paid Playstation plus (PS plus) subscription. However, there is an easy way to play without subscription. Fallout 76 logs into playstation network only when you start the game. If you start it before your Playstation subscription ends, you can keep playing as long as you don't close the game (or it does not crash).
